    i got my toyo proxes r1r for $175each from tyrepower for 195/55/15
    awesome grip in dry and amazing in wet

    They say a 140 tread wear rating on the Toyo website but dont say what the wearing on the T1R's are but are they fast wearing like the KU36's.

    T1R will last longer then Ku36, just make sure you keep enough air in them as they have soft sidewalls. I would pick the kumhos over the T1R and RE001.

    well depends on how you treat them. i know someone that got 25,000kms out of them from a xr6 turbo on the rear wheels. and thats a 1.6ton car.

    wow that's pretty high the re001 is only 220
    Ku36 is 180

    Suprised the t1r is 280

    So:

    Toyo proxes R1R 140
    KU36 180
    RE001 220
    T1R 280

    The KU36 isnt too far off the RE001,but they sound a lot faster wearing than the RE001's?

    price was alot better also.

    Ku36 - 215/45/16 was only $145
    Re001 - 205/45/16 was $180 205/50/16 $220

    seems like from what ive seen, ku36 has lower tread depth compared to t1r.
