I hit about 7000 in second before i shift just before it bounces off the limiter, reckon if you got good oil in your motor should be fine ;p

I got a ek sedan with D6Y4 as well.

Rev it over 5-6k daily without probs.

Still does 8lt/00kms and drove to ACT and back from Sydney without probs.

Installed Spoon CF intake Arm, removed resonator and replaced with KnN panel filter.

Also installed Spoon Ti gearknob, best gearknob I've used to date.

    Any mods to your car?

Clean your intake piping, TB, and airbox?

    What fuel do you use?

    What engine oil?

what wheels and tyre specs, PSI ?

running xforce twinloop catback off the stock airbox for the moment since cai isnt really needed for the cold weather,

using agip 10/40 oil as for wheels using buddyclub p1 sf's on 215/30/17

    - Did you reset ECU after changing back to stock airbox?
    - You should use thinner oils in winter like 5 or 10 -30.
    - Big wheels are obviously heavier and will burn more fuel to move, rubber specs are a bit weird, most ppl would use 40 or 45 profile.

I get 600 to a tank on 98 driving sensibly, even non sensibly it clears 540 with ease

I do buy dear oil for mine after watching them prove some other critics wrong in a show overseas, but whenever I take off the cover to see when they do the belt service it still looks as it did at 100k. Good oil and oem radiator fluid is the best insurance to have. I'm keen to see how it goes running 5psi and 35 spray

man i envy u guys gettin 500kms plus, lol, most ill ever see is 450kms, an thats only highway... guess tis time for a tune up before spring hits... one more thing, is it worth getting a exedy clutch for D16? my clutch is on its way out, i dont really know if its worth spending extra on the engine.... driving habits only involve spirited drives once a week, after work , rest of the week im at school

haha your all lucky, i'd be struggling to get 380km's out of a full tank in my EM1 when driving as 'fuel efficiant' as I can :O

Im chucking the exedy HD cushion button/lightened flywheel in mine bout 490/500ish?
then removing the oil pump as I suspect it's got a leak in the o-ring, changing the crank seal, rear main seal and inspecting the bearings also trying another sandwich plate brand with a better gasket/rep lol
