Well......it'd need to be complied for it to be able to be registered. And then you'd need to have it inspected (blue slip/RTA in Sydney) by the relevant inspection stations and register as per usual at the road authorities.
As for fees you'd need to look at the authorities website!
I'd personally buy one in Australia so it can be seen and negotiated. A few in Sydney has gone for way under 20K.....cheap!!!
