    ek brake conversion

alrite guys, i got an 99 ek1 civic gli hatch and im thinking of a doing a jdm b18c swap, im buying the whole front cut and i just wanted to know whether it was possible for me, to use the front and rear brakes of a jdm ITR @ all?

considering it's a 99 model, to get the motor registered, it would mean the motor itself would have to be either a 99 or 00 correct?

im pretty sure there is a certain limit as to how old of a motor you can legally use.

different states have different rules, as pointed out, if ur in vic, u must use a motor made in the same year

if u got the whole brake assembly with the halfcut, hub, trailing arms etc, do the 5 stud conversion, better wheel selection

actually theres a loop hole (i think not 2 sure) where u can use an older motor in a newer chassis, sumthing to do with emissions.
