i work at an car audio shop and my preference in terms of quality and reliability is the cx 609a
but i just talked to my clarion rep and apparently the new one is coming out soon
nx709a with screen and bluetooth and usb the whole 9 for roughly the same price
Buy kenwood DDX series head unit roughly around $600+. save up a bit then buy garmin no map gps hide away around $300 (everyone knows garmin is the best GPS) then find your self a 'map'
I can't remember if I read this somewhere here or not... but is it true that there is no way to maintain the steering wheel button functionality once we change our headunit?
Isn't there some sort of adapter we could use? Mainly just after ipod connectivity + control with the steering wheel... =)
depends on what brand is your HU, im using swi jack wired to steering wheel control button with kenwood HU and everything works perfectly, track up down, volume up down, and source button. most of aftermarket hu has ipod adapter.
