Well bit of an update. Ive finished my back end mods, installed the EG6 Hubs, Skunk2 LCA, Skunk2 Tie Brace and sway bar. Will get photos up asap having problems atm. This saturday ill be picking up my new fuel tank and fuel lines so I can run a EFI system. Been to Honbits, I was told that a EK system will almost fit perfectly, so thats what ive got. Also this weekend ill start removing the engine.

Ive stripped the interior as im going to lay down a new carpet and give it a good clean up. Got a photo of that lol

Ill upload some more photos this weekend.

Good on you Jono, lookin good. As you have discovered converting to EFI is the only way to go. I'll be following your build with great interest as I want to do likewise to a carby Honda City GA2 (91)

Specially interested in what's involved wiring and computer wise. They have a D13C engine in them which is similar to the D15 in the cvic.

In regards to using an EK fuel system that almost fits perfectly why not use an EG fuel system that will fit perfectly?

I've never compared an EG vs EK tank side-by-side but even the smallest difference is going to cause major issues when trying to install it.

you can also make use of the carby fuel lines, will save you countless hours removing and installing fuel lines. Just have to replace all the soft fuel hose with EFI hose.

erm there's not much difference in WEIGHT yo.. is just the SIZE.. that's why they're called a 'SPACE-saver' spare wheel :P

markismaximus - to be honest im not 100% sure. They told me but I forgot But ive been told the EK is the best way to go. Anyone else go any more input? "In regards to using an EK fuel system that almost fits perfectly why not use an EG fuel system that will fit perfectly?"

hondapop - the wiring im still looking in to and not looking forward to it lol. When I get my half cut ill be able to see what.Gav from Honbits said they may be able to help me out with it all.

As for the spare tyre.... **** it gonna take it out... If I go on a long cruise or something ill just put it in the back seat or what not haha. Also im going to be taking the sound deadening shit out. Just need to source some dry ice and ill do it.

i would take mine out but i travel from busso to bunno almost every day ... dont wanna be stuck on that road lol

swapped out my spare for a space saver - from lifting both i would say theres about half to one kilo difference

another thing i like about the space saver in my sedan is that i dont have to have a hump if i want to put a floor back in lol
