    question is does your abs work at all and have you bothered to even check up the error code?

    ok so the pump motor has issues, does anyone know if this would be an expensive item to replace? ECU MAN thankyou very much for your help.

    it will make a difference, it means your brakes will lock up and not do what the ABS system is designed to do which is to not allow the wheels to lock and skid.

    i know a trick to avoid the problem
    unplug that warning light from yr cluster and train yr right foot up lol

    you need to check the fuses in the ABS fuse box on the LH Shock tower.

    you can unplug the ABS pump relay from within the fes box and bridge the relay pins to force the pump to run, see the photo below. if it runs then you have a fault in the relay circuit for the pump

    its a tricky one, yesterday i pulled all the fuses then put them back in then i heard the pump run but still the light stayed on, now this morning i tried what u last mentioned buy trying to make the pump run and it would not run. Now going through the original owners paperwork its actualy been faulted in the past and error code 12 (ABS motor circuit) so now i am unsure if its the circuit or th pump cause i heard it run yesterday but now cant force it to run by shorting those 2 pins under the bonnet.

    do yo uhave the correct two pins ?


    also clear the codes from the ABS and see if it comes back ( im sure it will )

    Yeah i am certain i have the right 2 pins i had a look at the pic u posted and i tried it with ign off and then on and nothing, also how do i clear the codes mate?
