Hi, i got my dad to help me. We tried all the combinations to get it right, blew a few fuses but its all good. There were no instructions with the mirrors so yea. But you guys should'nt need to blow fuses since ive alreadyy told which goes with which..

Are you sure you got the wiring right?

I have a set of these aswell but following your wiring instructions they seem to do some odd things, the drivers side one when pusing the left button seems to go up, as does the up button.

*confused*

Oh well, can just push them into place

Cheers for the write up, was a massive help, though rather than use other screws, I used the original double threaded ones, they were a tight fit but went in no worries with a bit of help from my ratchet!

Cool write up, had these on my EJ2 but never did finish wiring them up lol.
Just tried it out and works a treat, just need to respray them and fit 'em on the EJ1.

ahaha..i know but i just got my eg and starting to do mods to it so this will be very helpful when i get around to buying my mirrors. I probably would've done my head in trying to work out the wiring and blowing fuses..-_-"

these are similiar to dc2 mirrors right? cabling looks the same? same colours etc ?
