How much has it gone up by? it doesnt make sense, i thought they traded in USD, and aud to USD is amazing again this week so it shud be cheaper for us?
Are teins better than eibachs? i was about to buy eibachs cause everyone seems to say that eibachs are better for stock suspension?
The coilovers are pretty cheap. I think Eibach only make springs for the CU2, the link he showed are Tein coilovers not springs

oh right
wats the difference between springs/coilovers and the word suspension in general. getting so confused. do u need new shocks if u get new springs/coilovers?
also supergt does do kits, you have to email them for a quote. they order it in for u.

Suspension: a mechanical system of springs or shock absorbers connecting the wheels and axles to the chassis of a wheeled vehicle.
Lowering Springs: Comes packaged with springs only to replace the OEM springs of the car, most lowering springs are compressed in order to drop the car's ride height a few inches for that sporty look, some lowering springs can be installed with the OEM shocks of the car, others may have to be installed with another aftermarket shock absorbers.
Coilover Suspension Kit: Coilovers come packaged with let's just say "special" springs and shock absorbers in one which can be adjustable to suit your ride height (adjustable meaning you have to take them off your car then compress it yourself, not automatic hydraulic adjusting) they replace the both the OEM shocks and springs of your car.
this is just from my knowledge, if anyone has better definitions please do correct me.
hope this helped fury!

sure did!
my mate said something about springs are hard to corner balance. no idea what that is.
even tho i dont need it NOW, i want to buy the eibachs this week cause the AUD is like the nuts. so i wanna do my research asap. question is, is it worth it? and will i notice 1.3 inches difference in height? (is it inches or cms?)

On top of that coilovers are usually stiffer and improve handling overall. You'd be able to corner a lot quicker (speaking from previous experiences)...after market strut bars would also help :P

you can't corner balance with springs. But theres not really a need for that if you are just installing springs. Theoretically springs should have even drop...so it will retain the stock corner weighting.
With coilovers, because the height is adjustable independantly at the 4 corners, you will need corner weighting to make sure (at least) left and right have the same corner weight. Front -Rear weight can differ..just like how magazines love to quote the weight balance F-R (e.g. 50:50/40:60)
hope this helps

the ebay seller is out of stock
what a crock, he lists as having more than 10 in stock.
what is the difference between these two?
http://www.advancespeedshop.com/tein...0-p-12271.html
http://www.advancespeedshop.com/tein...0-p-11743.html
the green one seems to lower a lot more (gees im getting alot of inconsistent numbers) but its cheaper?
i cant decide which one to get now. teins or eibachs. i was settled on eibachs cause it was the cheapest and it lowers 1.3 inches, but ive seen too much conflicting info to be sure now! which one lowers more? and where can i get them the cheapest? i remember someone saying that heeltoe auto does discounts or something? their teins are ridiculously expensive. and shipping is a total killer
*edit* found the drop heights from euroRwannabe on page 104 looks like teins are 0.02 inches higher than eibachs lol
but i have no idea why i thought eibachs were cheaper. getting confused nowww
someone just point me to something to buy!
*edit 2*
the seller from
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TEIN-...Q5fAccessories
which one of u guys posted, i msged him for a discount. He said if i bought from his site directly it was cheaper
and lo and behold!
http://www.coopscustoms.com/product/...s/Default.aspx
(select make and model and year)
Its $206 but shipping is $99) making them about 10% cheaper than ebay! take that ebay fees!
and i found a coupon
"free5"
which gives another $5 off!
$322.40 for Tein H springs
and $300.02 for tein S
so whats the difference between H and S? the drop for S is Front Drop-1.6in Rear Drop-1.4in
the H is: Front Drop -1.1 inches, Rear Drop -0.7 inches.
However: "The H Tech Springs are similar to the S Tech Lowering springs but the H Tech's offer a more aggressive drop and have a few different applications. High Tech springs are designed for those seeking a slightly lowered stance while maintaining high ride quality at a reasonable price. Most vehicles will attain a 1.2 inch drop for a more attractive appearance, added performance, and excellent comfort. "
see what i mean, conflicting information
*edit 3*
google says Tein H are a waste of time, unless ur bodykit is so low that if u dont get H's u will scrape
