I have CL9.I'm using eibach with Bilstein shocks.I wouldn't put coilovers on a CU2.IMO They don't suit the car.

paul is still sourcing mugen wing, waiting for his reply. he had to go overseas on an emergency and came back yesterday apparently
i got a reply from SG people and they said "due to recent soaring fuel prices, shipping cost will incur a 20% surcharge, making shipping more expensive than actual item, continue?"
so im assuming it will be over $300usd for the wing. 20% surcharge...what a crock of shi**. im guessing they didnt give me exact quote becuase they dont want me checking the rates up. i noe its not an official shipping quote. im asking for box size and weight and considering arranging own courier. at the very least i can then compare the rates when the fuel prices go down

i sure did D.I.Y, and the sound of my engine now is crazy, kind of sounds like a WRX with a massive cannon on idle when you step on the gas and rps reach around 3000!
there's the video defcon posted up a few pages back, VERY VERY HELPFUL!

the video doesn't show the BEFORE and AFTER of the sound, i'll make one if you want, cos i already have a video of me revving my car with resonator on, i'll just make a video of me revving with it off!
pretty much like the "silencer of a gun". since the CU2 is supposed to be a family based car, they try to make the engine as quite as possible.
the resonator is just there to suck air in and circulate in there before it is sucked into the engine, which makes it much quiter
however removing the resonator allows the engine's air intake to suck in air directly forcing the engine to have that aggressive suction noise, it's a free alternative for a short ram intake haha!
thats freakin huge! are u sure ur supposed to remove it? i cant imagine something so big missing from the front of the car. what about the bits that it connects to? those are pretty big pipe holes that are left open! arent there like filters and stuff that prevent random crap from floating into ur car?
i wonder how he managed to get his front lip fitted so perfectly after that video shows it being so wonkipated

Haha really now...tempting...I haven't taken mine out coz I'm gonna be taking it in for it's 10k km service soon...don't want them to think wtf is the resonator hehe.
DRL's arrived and given the wet weather in Qld, got them installed

Think they look alright. Looked at putting them in the fake air slot on the spoiler, but would have had to have recessed them into the bumper proper so opted for this spot.
Would the DRL's fit next to the foglights? Do they turn on without turning on your lights like other DRL - start car, lights off, DRL on -> lights on, DRL dims etc?
