    bc coilovers noise

    Hey guys,

I recently installed some bc coilovers on my dc5S and realised my left rear is making some squeaky noises each time it goes over a speed hump or any rocky roads...has anyone had any problems with bc's before??

    thanks

If you have factory rubber mounts and they're worn out, they will squeak. or bushings imo. but i heard bc does squeak. its jst down to build quality i guess. no offense.

How long have they been on the car? If it's been less than a couple weeks since you installed them, jsut give them a bit of time to 'settle in'.

BC are know to squeak on the DC5.

If it annoys you, take it back to where you bought it from and have it replaced... if you bought it from a shop in Aus.

hey mate have u solved the problem yet?? i realised the squeaky noise was gone wen it rains so i sprayed wd40 around the coilovers but it still had noise wen it was sunny again. i realised the noise wasnt coming from the coilovers it was coming from a metal noise. So i tightened every bolt around the coilover and i had one bolt not tighten properly. once i tightened the bolt i drove around and the noise was gone. Hope this helps ya
