Battery is fine - still reads 13.8Volts
Starter motor - car still starts, but then dies. So I doubt it can be the starter motor

Have you checked the wiring around the ignition barrel? Sounds like a loose connection when turning it to the 2nd position

Yeah I'm still checking it, been 4hrs now and I can't seem to find loose wire or anything. But I'm still trying,

well, I opened up the ignition barrel looking like thingo...

Okay here are the main bits, how much am I meant to sand off? There are springs underneath it, can I extend it so it can conduct with the switch well? Or would it burn it faster? Should I put solder on top for better electricity conduction?

I sanded a bit of and yay it starts fine. But the lights do dim out abit though. Atleast I found the problem.

Can I buy this thingy from Honda or Autobarn? What is it exactly called?

Called an Ignition switch, you can sand it down but it'll only be a temp fix. Get it from honda if they still stock em or the wreckers.

New ignition switch on my mate just fitted it.

after 10mins the gauges start to dim out and goes back to normal.

    i turned the car off.

turned the car to II and it looked like it had a flat battery, because gauges were very dim.

    then I turned car off

Turned car on again then it gauges were normal. but car still turned off

Sounds like an electrical problem some where, anyone got any ideas???
