Haha yer. its that tiptronic thing. Its in all of the auto euros. Even in standard auto, if i floor the pedal it will go to line and then change gears, i still manage about 70 - 75 in first, i can push it a little higher though because of my tune but i generally dont.

Dude, why haven't u done it? 10-15min to warm up, WTF? You don't need to warm up a fuel injected car. You thermostat is ****ed FFS.

There are many things that can kill economy. Cactused thermostat, fouled injectors, fouled PCV can also contribute. Fuel filter would be my first port of call.

And stick to 98 octane fuel. I recommend BP or Mobil, I'm not a fan of Shell. BP Ultimate is best IMO.
    any reason behind this Mike?

Thermostat is deff gone, its stuck open and feeding coolant constantly. This is bad for fuel economy and do you find that your temp guage drops when you are travelling at speed i.e on the highway?

Since I switched I've noticed slightly better mileage and less carbon build up at the tailpipe. Some other peeps have said they don't recommend it too. I'm sure v-power isn't that much worse though.

ive run v-power in mine since day 1 as did the previous owner. I get some carbon build up on the rear bumper. I drive like a granny 95% of the time (had to survive 1 year on 1point) so when I do put my foot down it blows a bit of carbon. You are the not the first person to tell me they are getting better mileage with BP

    What oil you running mike
