    on the DC5R second gear crunching is a problem and on the DC5S third gear popping out is the problem, however it might just be me but i realised third gear pops out really frequently...and can get annoying does anyone else experience third gear popping out frequently or is it a rare thing for u DC5S owners?

    Tom, just change your gearbox fluid. GO Meekong in Canley Vale, you need 1.6 Litres, so your gonne need 2 x 1 Litre bottles at $18 each.

    Diagnostic Scanner will tell you whether it is the primary or secondary sensor (it will state State 1 or 2 O2 Sensor) - State 1 being pre-cat, state 2 being post-cat

    you can also pull the cel code by using the 'paperclip' method. takes about 5 mins. instructions here: http://www.k-series.com/tech_document.php?id=37
    then just refer to the dtc table to see which error you have and which sensor is giving you the error.

    its just luck on what you get really.. ive had my dc5r for almost 3yrs and not one problem that ppl have said on here.. but if your going to get it inspected.. use state roads

    they are the most anal inspectors out.. check everything.. even paint thinkness..

    full toda head...
    port polish,cam, valves, springs etc.
    intake, toda headers, bigger tb
    kpro, solid mounts

    plus all the suspension upgrades
