    If you had the pipe replaced already then it sounds like your steering pump is about to shite itself. Sadly....

    How likely actually is it that the hose will start leaking?

    It's such a massive inconvenience for me to take the car to the dealer to have it fixed... I'm tempted to just forget about it, and if it starts leaking in the future I'll get it fixed, otherwise I've saved a day of stuffing around with the dealer.

    Hmm.... It should have a 'sleeve' on top to prevent leak onto hot engine parts.....

    Mine doesnt even go over the top, looks exactly like the original.

    guys I just picked up an 04 Euro Lux off Larke Hoskins Homebush on Saturday, with a Vin Number that is on the recall list. Any chance they would have replaced the ps hose before I picked it up, or are they waiting for me to come in again forthis...

    Take a photo of the hose, post it up and we can try to identify it for you.

    now to find a dealership service dept that i can get my car into without scRaping the front bar soo much...damm u low car...haha
    so is it that , they just replace the hose? or do they also change the OS fluid and o-ring too?

    LOl i was thinking the same thing for my car! haha

    Checked the mechanic and he was quoted from Honda $450 for the hose!!
    Now im trying to find a good dealership to take my car to in Sydney.

    rick damelian any good? i called them about the problem but they said i had to wait for some letter?
