there are not many cars up here so be prepared to travel. in terms of price it's hard to say so far in advance.
just a ballpark, a pre facelift shouldn't be more than $20k unless it's in top condition with geninue very very low kays. currently most pre-FL go between 15 - 20k, depending on condition and mods.
facelift will likely be still over $20k.
Thanks mate!
Yeah that's the 2005 FL silver one up here for $24k, but there's also a white PFL up on the Sunshine Coast with just under 100,000k's on it asking just under $20k.
I don't really want to spend much over $18k, but at the same time I want something very clean and preferably stock ofcourse (but who doesn't? ) So I guess it's jus a matter of compromise.
Is there anything with the EP3 that I need to look out for when inspecting them? Also apart from the basic bumper/light changes, are there any major difference between the PFL/FL models?
And final question, what do you guys pay for insurance on your cars?
Sorry for the massive amount of noob questions, i've spent the last 3 years around eg's and dc2's and can tell you anything you wanna know about them lol but the EP3/K20 range is all new to me!

Thanks heaps fellas.
Apart from the usual things you check on a used car, check for:
- Steering rack noise (remedy is just to grease it up so not too big a problem)
- Broken engine mounts
Apart from those, there are no major problems as long as the car is maintained correctly.
ah well. As mentioned before on this thread. The fact the turnover of the ep3 is so high nowadays, it rapidly devalues the ep3 in the market.
Soon enough it'll worth shit all like the typical nissan skyline, siliva and etc thanks to the high turnover.
I've heard too many stories of p-platers selling off to move on to turbo after they get their fulls. And then it gets sold to another p-plater. It becomes a never ending cycle.
A few p-platers told me I should go turbo because I got my fulls. It's all too typical. I ain't jumping into that band wagon. LOL
