    Yes true, but the smaller end allows it to sit up higher in the 4 spike/holder things at the bottom of the airbox.

    no - the cone shape is a generic shape for all " pod" filters. This is to (hopefully) maximise surface area and air flow.

    think you can just take the whole airbox out and replace it with the cone however a "exposed" filter is considered illegal for " flammable hazards" as the coppa says! gotta close that shit up.
