Get the M80, but get an microwave sensor with it.. Helps alot seeing that we have soft-tops. Works a charm, unless you have a hole in the roof. And if your not on a budget get a tracker too. I got all of them + installation for 1000.

Yea dude. I got it all done at Dsire4sound, Rosyln Street Liverpool. They're real nice guys. My S2000 was the first they done and it took them a day cause of some delays. But im sure theyll do a great job. And if you dont have tints, you can work out a deal with the tinter next door..

i bought one of these. If you love your car like i do , they deserve the best. The feature i love best about this alarm you can start the car with an i phone. Havent got mine installed yet though.

Honestly alarms only slow down a crook. All it takes is smash window pop the hood and kick the out the siren, take out the positive lead and then play around with the steering column . If it has a immobiliser all you have to do is find it and un plug a few wires and the computer wont know its there. Lol i sound like a crook it just a few things and electrician told me. He told me to get this and if installed properly it will be lethal . The for an example wire the alarm to a separate battery , put the siren down low where it cant be tampered with.

How do you know that it is the best? also, what type of sensors are they? magnet on each door and if the door opens? or is there motion sensors? like if they slash the roof and jump in the car without opening doors? what if a cat jumps on my car? is that going to set it off? i think it's best i find a good alarm specialist and discuss it with them. just don't know who to go to. I'm thinking these guys: http://www.glprosound.com.au/ they've installed my sound system for me. Don't know how they are with alarms though.

Hey dude. Those alarms arent aimed at stopping your car from getting stolen, rather they attract buyers by putting features that are useless but fun, like 'interior temperature, so you know if it has warmed up or cooled off enough to make your drive'... On a rating from 1 to 5 on protection theyre on about 1. This isnt a biased view, its the truth. I wouldnt suggest that alarm for protection of an S2000.

The xx owner put in an after market alarm system and only pulled some of it out when he sold the car.

Has anyone seen this alarm set up before?

This is some of what he left behind, no names or numbers besides that sticker so I cant look it up
