If your going for anything wider then 215 then most likely yes, if you lower the car.
is there an calculator somewhere to tell me what tyres I CAN use for any give size of rims?

^ huh. 7.5 +40 will fit fine under the guards with room, and ull probably wanna run 205 if anything not 215/

i was tucking at the rear on x9 +40, i didn't really need to roll my guards, but i did anyway. and pull/bending outside the guards is extreme, u wont need to.

well, im not tucking at the front, but ive got x8 +40 at the front, so i know at the rear for sure it wont rub or anything, but for the fronts, im not 100%, but im still certain that u wont need to roll ur guards for a 7.5 +40, i think the stock wheels are +6.5 +45? so its only like a 1inch difference isnt it?

if your gonna lower the car and gonna put anything wider then 215 then yes, go with that.

follow the link i posted earlier, you can calculate tyre size aswell. from memory I think 215 is the least u can go on 7.5 rims.

that's not how offset works, its not automatically one inch closer to the guard cos the rim is one inch wider.

stock 03 euro rims are 6 inch wide with an offset of +55

yes, go for toyo proxes t1r 215/40 R18 (theyre 18's right??)
taleb tyres in sydney quoted me $160 each delivered to melb, so they'd most likely give you the same price to brissy! toyo's are great tyres!
