GSI engine's are solid IMO, good engines. Obvious advantages of upgrading to a B18C is more power, and in the case of the JDM B18C or the AUDM B18C7 you'll get much better gearbox ratios and an OEM helical LSD.

B18C2 from the VTi-R. To be honest I wouldn't bother putting it in a GSI. I'd rather spend the same amount of money on an ITR gearbox and a decent I/H/E.

Looks really nice, I'd buy it if I were you! Just gotta spray that front lip. Some really nice goodies though, Mugen header/air intake, Hondata, Sprint Hart CP-R's which are rare as sh!t. Lot of expensive extras.

LOL I know nothing about it since i'm in Melbourne

but considering the mods/parts i's say it's "value for money"
since late model gsi's go for around that price but a bit under and your getting a lot for that price

I took the car for a test drive today and i tried to vtec it but it didn't kick in as hard as i expected it to. May this be because its got a stock gsi exhaust with mugen header /
Is there a way where you can check what gearbox its got ?

Yes, there should be a number on it when you look closely, just to the right of the engine number.

Were you driving it with a warm engine?

    Could be the exhaust, yes.
