Changing gearbox in em1??

I dunno, aren't all Honda gearboxes for eg/ek/dc either 4.4 or 4.7? Mine sits at like 3k on the highway too.

Some are 4.26 (or something like that - GSI etc).

My D-series sits on about 3,000 RPM at 100km/h. CRX probably does 3,500 can't remember, don't drive it often enough...

if you're really bothered can just drop in a slightly longer 5th gear. to the guy that does 5k at 110...do you have a 5.1fd or soemthing? sounds like a good gearbox to hold onto

From experince dont, i dropped from b16a2 gearbox to b18c box, not worth it at all, sure i sit at 2.5k doing 100kms on 5th and 2nd gear redline takes me to 110km lol. the car just generally feels shit lol.

Biggest down fall - leaving the power band, cant corner properly.

Yeah it's a shit combination really, B16A doesn't have the torque to get the car up to speed using the B18C2 gear ratios.
