Do your budget first, you might find doing a clean swap would end up being cheaper instead of patching here and there

To do an enginr swap will cost me atleast $4,000 I don't have that much to spend..

By using the same engine and trying to put that back to stock should cost me half I predict.. but I'm not sure aswell.

I just wanna start somewhere and that place is that box.. and I can't get one anywhere.. =|

I don't know enough to know the best way to go.. =[

Well anyway I'll leave this link here if you ever decide to go the EFI b-series path http://www.hondacivicforum.co.uk/vie...p?f=21&t=25068

Reason being is that i just saw a b18c2 with gearbox/ecu/wiring loom for $700 an decent d16's for about the same price. IMO it's easier to drop out/drop in than trying to fiddle pieces here and there. :-)

I'm from brisbane so I don't know about shops that does it...

Part wise, I think there is a d16y1 on eBay right now from NSW... Pretty cheap, comes with ECu I think.

Oh and if you do a d16 conversion, this thread migt help:
    http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthr...iring-Question

Oh and considering the thing is missing carb controller... Wasthe car EFI to began with? If it is thing would be sooooo much easier for you to just return it to efi by dumping a d16 back in.

In that case... The mpefi control module should still be there, and you should still have fuel pump in tank and 2x fuel lines etc.....
Lol.. Stop fooking around and just drop another d16 in it lol.
Then rip out your carbied crap and sell parts

    Incorrect.

Its multi point fuel injection. Refers to the fact that there are multiple fuel injectors, one for each cylinder.

As opposed to single point fuel injection. Where a single injector is mounted above a throttle plate. It works just like a carby.
