yehh...the speed limit for that road is only 40kph so i just cruise in 2nd at 1/4 throttle....the 13% and 12% what i take everyday is 60kph and if you dont get the lights you have next to no run up for it. i changed out of first at 4200 and out of 2nd at 4000 at half throttle.
however its a pain in the arse paying for vpower 1.5 tanks a week

The BB6 fuel tank is 60L.
The fuel light comes on when 45L has been used.
At this point you have 15L left in your car.

Are you doing ACTUAL fuel consumption figures?

    Fill tank
    Reset trip meter
    When empty fill tank again
    Record K's traveled
    Record fuel put in

Then the math is K's / Fuel

So you put 45 Liters in and you've traveled 400K's

    400 / 45 = 8.8

So 8.8 K's per liter of fuel.

My apologies if you already know how to do this but so many people just have no clue.

other way around. you fill up 45 litres...but only travelled 400km....you fuel consumption is 11.25L/100km

I fill before the light comes on. I fill on average 38 litres. So im guessing 350-400 is ok for that then!
    I thought I only had a 50 ltr tank.
Hmm ill run it till the fuel light comes on and ill see what I get!

I think I am to used to my old DC4 where i could give it heaps and still had fuel. example I had a full tank when I took my car for some "happy lap" (everyone went for it) for 30mins and still had over half a tank of fuel left!
I am pretty sure if I did this in my BB6 that id have like 1/3 left or less.

My BB4 had the H22A from the BB6's, I could drive from my town to sydney (roughly about 400km give or take 20km) and I would be left with about 1/4 of the tank left.

I can't wait to see how my BB6 H22A goes in my stripped out civic for fuel economy... but I'm pretty sure the aggressive tune it has is gonna make it pretty terrible.
And yeah I fill mine up with nothing but 98.
