    04 euro not accelerating smoothly

    Hey guys any advice on why the car surges a little on acceleration, filter been changed on last service, plugs about 15000 kms ago, added a injector cleaner???? Help its driving me crazy.....

    possibly the APP sensor. i know when i changed mine due to another fault my drive became alot smoother.

    Thanks, was the APP sensor expensive and who did you get to replace it?

    i would wait for other opinions first, but

    Honda wanted $480 installed

    i bought the APP sensor from oemacuraparts.com for around $180 delivered and installed it in 15 minutes.

    What about the oxygen sensor??

    Have you tried to reset the ecu?

    Could be a number of things...
    You can try to reset the ecu as Fredoops said. Or maybe certain parts are clogged and need to be cleaned out?
    Have you tried the upper engine cleaner, they're about 25-30 dollars from Subaru.

    First do a throttle body clean.Then get some Subaru upper cylinder cleaner and follow the instructions.Works a treat.

    Well i did the ECU reset and its certainly made a huge difference. Thanks for the advice guys. Awesome

    Dont forget the Subaru Upper Engine Cleaner...does wonders!

    anyone got pics on how to do the subaru upper engine cleaner on an 04 euro.
