We've pushed k24a3 for circuit work to 8000rpm. So it'll take 8000rpm for street application just fine.

    Bang for buck mod -

    VTC GEAR
    KPRO
    Good headers
RBC intake manifold (top end power)
    Tunable ECU

These mods alone should get the motor to open up and make power up too 140-150kw atw. This is evident on over 10x k24a3 we have tuned with similar mods.

Flashpro needs a USDM post facelift ECU ain't it?, in that case wont you get CEL's for the purge valve and fuel tank pressure valve mismatches?

The max you should run its still 45vtc. With 50 deg I think the piston hits something or does something that is fatal to the engine. Forgot what it was though.

you won't make any gain with 50 deg. on low cam, I see only 45-40 deg benefits. BTW I have K-Pro and tried 50 deg, there is no any P2V contact with OEM camshafts

My redline is at 8300rpm....Removed stock oil pump and replaced with FD2R one... Used the Toda balancer killer kit.....
Given I don't go to 8300rpm all the time.... Motor has seen 2 track days so far and no issues....
40deg vtc using Toda spec C cams...
    Stock bottom block...
