b18c7 intake and exhaust in eg

What's ur opinion on intake and exhaust manifolds that will give me a more power? Herd simota or whale penis design r good, any proven facts sheets?

I have the jays racing carbon intake in my b18c7 eg , creates a high pitched whistle and slightly better response but not a major significant gain .
Im yet to upgrade my exhaust and headers though :P .

not sure if i understood ur question right but here goes..
im guessing you have a b16a engine as the c7 IM wont fit on a c2. ive heard of a few dyno sheets where the b16a IM manifold out performs the b18c7 manifold to about 7500-8000 rpm.. anything over that, the itr or blox etc would be ideal. the flow of the b16a is very similar to the itr, provided its a second gen b16a. imho, not worth it, keep the b16a IM.

as for exhaust manifold, id say either go with jdm dc2r headers and cat, or something aftermarket, 5zigen buddyclub etc. i you wana be baller, go with toda!

my mate had a b18cr with a js racing whale penis. was pretty average getting heat soaked, up until we led a pipe from the front bar to a custom airbox. definately made a huge difference. the car is noticably more responsive.

    your rep means jack.

I think the setup he is referring to requires you to seal off the entire front right corner, air feeds from the bottom front right.

no need pic, use your imagination.

but you want "dyno proven performance"

DIY yourself a nice cold air intake using an ebay whale penis or standard dc2 airbox..... this is budget route.

if you want to spend moolah, then just get an Injen intake system off JDMyard.

No don't get Ek vtir one

Ek Injen piping is too small for b18c7

Get Dc2r Injen, it will fit in your EG
