    CRX delsol K20 with new installed K-Pro Boggin around 3,000rpm

    hey guys i just recently swapped from a PRD JDM K20 ECU to
    a K-pro'd PRD
    well initially had some problems with some error codes but the guy
    that was selling me the K-Pro helped me clear them
    they were secondary heat oxygen sensor and VTEC oil pressure switch malfunction.

    the car is bogging around 3,000rpm and i can hear a weird noise in the engine when revving it out, the car is revving amazingly quick compared to
    the old ecu though.
    Im currently strapped for cash so tuning wont be for a while..
    any input anyone can give?...

    Run your stock ecu until you can afford the tune

    i swapped my stock ecu+ cash on top for the k-pro lol..

    Stupid question, but did you check to make sure it's a genuine k-pro?

    yeah mate ofcause... i checked all the signs of being genuine via the Hondata Website.. and the dude who i bought it off (very genuine guy) was running version 3 software on the laptop.... he went on to tell me how he had been burnt by the fake K-pro's too..

    well the guy uploaded a map he got off a site.... .........ive got the datalog and graph of the tune etc. should i post it up ?

    would be good to know how it got fixed..


    Intially i was thinkin it was the Kpro manager software needed updating/upgrading.

    Well turns out the Vtec was set on 3,000 both upper and lower boundaries. Lawl.. So that weird sound was Vtec coming on too early.. Uploaded a jdm k20a map from the hondata forum and it's all good ...
