Yo fellaz now that i got the intake kit, do you think it would be wise to get the ecu tuned accordingly? And is it possible to tune a standard ecu....

i thought that the ecu was 'learning' and could adjust to the extra airflow.
i do stand to be corrected but i believe this is true.

yeah its not learning or prorammable as an aftermarket ecu is but can adjust to small things such as change in air flow from new intake.

no you cannot "tune" a standard ECU , as it is.

You have to get some sort of chip orpiggy back ECU to overwrite settings , or get a programmable stand-alone ECU

stock ecu, u can only reset it .
once its resetted, start it up and let it idle for 3-4 mins,
ecu can be self learn and remap.
