If you're burning some oil with 10w30 or 5w30, there's nothing wrong with trying a Xw40 from a decent manufacturer.
what is the sheer test?
also looking at the 10w-50 HPR10 full syn of penrite and 5-40 HPR5 full syn of penrite the penrite stuff seems better due the price its less then valvoline stuff not sure what to use.
