Bouncing off rev limiter with auto

What do you mean? o-o As in your RPM just goes down after 4000 PRM even though you're stepping on the throttle?

ok. normal techo drops down to 1000rpm in my aurion/camry/corolla... it does not drop below this.

when i race the engine upto 4000k and let go off the gas as the needle drops back down... it goes past the 1000rpm point and hits the 800rpm point... i havnt seen it in my other cars but only euro... is this normal?

auto im guessing? could just be the box gearing down?
