Yea but you never know what you come across when servicing the car. Which is why a manual and especially a multimeter is always handy.

Still thinking about what tools to buy. I can't help but drool at the snap-on stuff, not sure if it's worth it though. I won't be using these tools that often but i do love the best of the best.

What do people think of this new snap on ratchet? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/SNAP-1-2-...#ht_500wt_1413

There are also normal and deep sockets on ebay too, it is very tempting...

    Thanks.

I was wondering how do you change engine mounts? Do you need to support the engine so it doesn't drop out :P

my old man have said sidchrome made in taiwan doesnt cut it anymore, and still prefers the sidchrome made in australia. currently im using a mix bucket of everything from sidchrome, kinchrome, and even the odd snap on. for my uses its ok i guess.

I spoke to my cousin who works as a diesel mechanic.

He reckons if i want to waste money go snap on. He reckons sidchrome is overpriced, he uses kincrome and sp tools and reckons they are great tools.
