    obd1 need air temp sensor?

Ok running into small dilemmas here an there with the build, im not sure if i require the standard B/D series air intake sensor on the factory intake arm.

Most intercooler piping kit have no such position to mount it on the whole cooler piping thus requiring to weld a extra pipe to mount the sensor

Considering im running a P72 OBD1 ecu, do i still need to retain this?

Im under the impression most obd1 dont need this sensor

    cheers
