    Hey guys/girls at OzHonda
    Name's Adam
I'm currently an assistant in nursing in Perth
Was born in Melbourne but currently over here (moved for the mrs) and now currently engaged

Warning this intro is a bit long, sorry

I only started getting into cars as my fiance's ex was a mechanic and she knew a bit about cars - and got me into it
Well she bought him a r32 skyline and apexi tune kit etc. ($6500) After 2 years he sold it for $1500 after trashing it (so much for being a ****ing mechanic right?)
She also had some experience with a late 80's rx7 (couldnt pass rego)

But now i'm into cars/hondas, i don't mind Fords, but Holdens can **** of (cept EH Holdens) - step brother has one as a wedding car
    Okay i've ranted

Any ways to the point -
We started in early 2011 with an N13 pulsar (picked up for $400 2 years ago) - that thing was a tank, went through 5 litres of oil in a fortnight, got into an accident with a Hyundai Getz (worst ****ing car ever) and came of better. The Getz side and passenger door were gone. The N13 had a bent front (panel beated it out)
It would just go and go. Sold it for $250 unrego-ed to randoms and ended up 50kms south of Perth abandoned (miss the no frills about the n13)
Any ways it was August that year we decided to buy a new car with a loan for $5000
After a weekend of looking we layed our eyes upon this so called 'Honda Accord'
I was adamant we get a civic - but when we layed our eyes on this accord the mrs. and i fell in love...
We named her Christina (not the haunted car) Though 3 people died around her within 1km radius while we had her
-Parked outside a house where someone was murdered
    -Double murder down our street
Weird huh... But we named her after the lead singer of Lacuna Coil

We bought her for $4990 with 155,00kms on the clock with a 1 year warranty
CD5 Exi with alloy wheels and full leather interior
Man any time i got of work or had time free i'd find any excuse to go for a drive
In 3 months we put 10,000kms on her it was just great
    She had her downs
-Brake Master Cylinder was going out
    -Rear windows wouldn't go down
Then one day in November while parked innocently an old lady in a cu2 blacked out and reversed into our beloved Christina
    And it sucked big time

After months and months negotiating with GIO about our car. (we only had 3rd party so we went with the other lady's insurance company)
We wrote off our car... Was a sad day
I know it doesn't look 'bad' but behind the bumper, there's a beaver panel and that took most of the damage and needed to be cut out and a new one wielded in... To do that and to get her re-registered would of cost at least $4000
They paid us out $3500 (minus $350 for wreckage fees) so $3150
We weren't going to let GIO sell it to pickles and get repaired to go to some wank who'll ruin it... So we parted her out
Then about 4 months ago we decided to buy another Honda Accord
We saw a 95' cd5 vti-s for $3700... the paint was crap and had 135,00kms but had been sitting for 3 years
My uncle was worried that because it hadn't been used for a while that stuff would of gunked up and been pretty bad
So then we came across an older 92 Accord for $2400... we got it for $2300
She had 231,000kms and had her timing belt done 2 months earlier (WIN)
So we decided to buy her
And named her Nikki... The Red Terror

But man she feels so much better than our old cd5
You sit higher up and not low down
It feels like my N13 with more power and luxurious
So far with my 'mods/repairs' haven't been much
As we gotta save up for a wedding, house
    But

    Done/Has/Repaired
    -CD5 alloy's (front wheels)
    -'Honda' blue shoulder pads
-Beginner Drift sticker for more JDM&kws
-Sony Xplod Front and Back speakers
    -Repco High Performance battery
-New windscreen wiper blades (full assembly)
-DIY Grill re-spray to black... Hated chrome
-DIY side skirts painted to black (faded)
-DIY Wipers painted to black (faded)
    -Slipknot sticker
    -OzHonda sticker
-'Sports Mode' I use to spam... but not anymore lol
    -Door Handle
    -Driver's side seatbelt

    Goals
-Need left OEM headlight (fake for some reason)
    -Rear cd5 alloys
    -Rear bumper
    -Front bumper
    -Rear left door/panel beat
    -Full respray
    -cd5/legend lip
-New interior carpet and door cards
    -New radiator
-Maybe after my rebuild a turbo T3/4 lol

    My Problems
-Balance shaft seal is poo poo
-Bogging down at low rpms, might need a new o2 sensor/dizzy & rotor replacement
    -Frayed driver's side seatbelt. Fixed

I thought about going the route of H22aing but
I have my cd5's old wreck
I'm waiting for this f22a9 engine to spin a bearing/die (im going to run it into the ground
Then rebuild (gaskets) the f22b2 and drop that in (makes sense)
That's where i am right now
For those of you who have made it this far thanks for reading, sorry it was long read
    Hope to be around regularly
    Cheers, Adam

Wow, haven't been updating in a while
A few small things here and there

    Wall of text/pic inc.

I've set the ball running for my engine replacement
At the moment my current engine is pissing out oil at about 1 lire a fortnight
I've come to the conclusion my balance shaft seal was not replaced when the timing belt was done
Im going to take out the f22b3 of the wreck and re-do the head gasket, all hoses, timing belt, water cooler and maybe the bottom end gaskets
Now this will take some time as i've got a wedding to save up for a other important stuff
Knowing my luck i might blue-print or pull out the pistons and dig deeper but i just want the new engine that i drop in to last longer
Then with my f22a out i'll do a major rebuild and MAY turbo it

Edit: My battery as draining and the alternator wasn't recharging/regulating thee voltage of the battery
So i stole the one from the cd5
But couldn't change over the pulley... So my p.s hose is rubbing against the alternator pulley

Two weeks later i played pole bingo
Ripped my front bumper from its frame... 1 hour and a few cable ties later - FIXED

And because I hated having a flimsy broken door handle i bought a new one
And got two front seatbelts as my drivers one was frayed really badly and didn't tighten properly

And then i got a little jdm thing (i know kinda silly) but i thought what the hey

    240,000kms!

Then last week i drove into the back of a Mazda 3... Somehow her car came of second best and she suffered a hole in her bumper (size of a 50cent piece)
And mine was just pushed back a bit - ended up pulling off the whole front bumper and had a thorough check. Nothing damaged!
After my collision i changed my automatic fluid with DW-1... Finally got my drain bolt off after two days and a few hours

    Reppin'

Then the other day after a 60km round trip my oil cooler hose decided to leak out 1km from home
Made it home with a trail of coolant behind
Took my about 3 hours to change... Man there is NO space behind the engine block to fix sh1t behind there

Found an old skool civic at the local shopping centre
Decided to park next to it and take some photoes!!!

    Cheers guys

    Another minor update
    Replaced my IACV today
As when i did a 15min drive and come back and put it in (P)
My rpms would go up to 1500 then down to 800 then up to 1500 then down to 800
It would only stop unless i disconnect the IACV or turn off the car
I use to have to adjust my base idle at least once a month is my base idle would be 500rpms (right at the bottom of the tach) or 900rpms
But she'd just get shitty at me and change the idle herself (the car)
So i put in another IACV (made sure i cleaned it) and changed over the hose to it and to the FITV
Hopefully this should help with my idle issues
And i bled the coolant system
I really should get into a valve adjustment and clean my EGR ports

    Depo signal lights
Thought i'd give the Stanleys a holiday
    Got em for $25

    On the car

Where the screw goes into the bumper through the signal light - there's a black covering as it makes it look professional
Fittament was a bit tight - bit of pushing and filing bits down
Yes i know i need a better number plate and a new lip lol
