bigger cams= no torq, and then setting the vtec controller to a lower rpm, = no torq all noise no go.
Oh okay. Well my intentions for the VTEC controller were to be able to change it to the optimum kick in after I get a dyno with my next exhaust, cams and intake so I can then change it to where the dyno tells me. Also to make it kick in higher when on freeways and stuff to save fuel.

what cams you got? when using bigger cams you would usually set the changeover to around 6000rpm.
but you cant just put in large cams + change vtec point = done. your engine will need to be tuned to get the performance othetwise itll probably be worse than stock.
