Look for a Bosch one or something! And install your self!

Or, My rents got the NRMA to come and replace there alternator on the Camry cost $140 including labour! Give them a buzz for quote. You must be a member of road side assistance though!

I would say bring the alternator out and take out the brushes and see if they're worn out.. if so, get a auto electrician to just replace them.. shouldn't be anymore than $25..
done it to a few b and d series.. doesn't seem to be a problem after..

mechanics can replace it too, so you dont need to really find a specific auto electrician. and they would inspect the bushes too, and if so bushes are cheap as. GL.
