i thought hondata's flashpro only works with US civics - i remember their website mentioning it wont work with other civics outside US

It does work, you just need to tweak it a bit ... one of the users on here got it working.

Thanks for the responses, are there any performance chips that would work on this vehicle, looking for easy gains at low cost.

the engine in question lacks the hardware.. sorry dude, just the harsh reality here

I thought the engine gives a good balance of power and economy for a 2.0 engine
Smooth and free reving engine, enough to push u back to seat a bit when full throttle...
Who needs a more powerful engine for a daily car ? )))))))

Same thing ive been told, I have been tempted to get an FA5 ECU, Immobiliser delete and flashpro. But its too much money to fork out to possibly fail.
Went with haltech in the end.

...why not just get EP3R? Save time and money. You get the K20A in it. Then you can upgrade to Hondata K-pro.
