"43 clicks" is meaningless without a shock dyno to determine actual damping range. 43 clicks between rock solid and backbreaking means less than 10 clicks ranging daily comfort to track-spec-stiffness

Not quite man. not quite. Empirical evidence does not speak louder than factual research. BC has good after sale support from what I hear but that's about it...

That's like buying super cheap auto tools and having them constantly replaced under warranty vs buying a snapon set.

This I can agree with. It's the lesser evil and you'll get better value for money from it

Able to go very low/stanced = quality

All those taiwan coils are GARBAGE no matter if they last 2 months or 12 months..how do you even know the 4 springs are correct rates?

Do you honestly believe they are that accurate...

Will you buy a Great Wall car? hmmmm

Anyone remember the wave of D2 and Ksport years back?
Where are they now? most is in the rubbish dump I can bet as you pretty much never see them up for sale used...

Then consider Tein Zeal Cusco etc. you can see those even from the early 90s still useable,of course most are worn out by now but the quality difference is obvious

I have HSD coils in my s2k atm (previous owner's choice)... and f me its seriously like riding on rocks. softest damper feels like im in a leb-spec commy with chopped springs and 22inch rims with 2cm worth of tyre

So.. pay the money, save up the extra coin, and get some good JDM shit and be done with it. Do it once do it right!

Theres lots to be considered though for a coilover as street use
Afterall traditionally they are a racing type style and having aggressive valving on bumps, something has to give out eventually

Road use obviously has a huge range of shitty conditions, potholes, railways lines, damaged bitumens we all drive on daily

do you alter the valving to suit those condition then people complain they feel too soft and not "sporty"

or you have aggressive valving and softer spring rates....theres ALOT of variable and setups we can try so no wonder its a pandoras box trying to choose a suspension that does everything and ticks all boxes

Hey buddy I've got Buddyclub N+ coilovers on my daily FD for about 2 months and they ride a bit firmer than stock. You can go very low which obviously gets bumpier but they're still decently smooth. I reckon they're good value coilovers and recommend them. The guys over at 8thcivic seem to say the same thing too
