    Moar photos!

    Dash removal...

Vehicle ECM (CAN-H, CAN-L and VSS signals)...

    Trial fit up...

Routing new wiring, conduits, clips, note the seperate ACC, B+ and GND lines

    Progress...

    Ta-daaa

FYI the job is not quite done....still have to make a sensible decision on vehicle speed sensor inputs, trip info and fuel consumption details, screen power, navigation drive power, more tidying up and safe wiring practice...

...plus haven't fired up the navi with everything else connected...stay tuned for tomorrow's update folks...

Not quite sitting proper mate....cant get a hold of mrgu to source the missing part.

I've done some dodgy engimanearing, oversized washers to act as a spacer and doubled over on the cubby hole mount...seems to work ok....will know more tomorrow

    That explains things! haha

Mate, theres another bracket that mounts the brackets attached to the dvd drive...i.e. sort of like a rectangular double DIN unit....

@ longers...reckon you've got a photo around or something to help mrgu kick some wrecker butt?

    Ladies and gents....I'm stuck

Faulty dvd drive. Won't eject the dvd (genuine honda dvd in drive)...powers up but doesnt spin properly....any button presses cause it to chuck skitz.

Mrgu - anything you can do with your wrecker about this?

Thanks for the continued support gents. On the bright side, conceptually this will work on any 7th gen accord euro both pre and post facelift.

What i need is a volunteer fault finder. Someone who can plug my wiring harness into their satnav. I'm happy to pay postage both ways andi can guarantee no harm will come to your car.

This or someone lend me their DVD drive lol. I need to drill down to what exactly is the problem.

    Any volunteers?
