Not sure if I should do a virtual Hi-5 or what, but I was in the same situation as you last year... only difference was my radiator *just* missed it by about 10mm.
My brother borrowed my car without asking and went for a joyride... then rear ended another car at the lights... you can imagine how I felt after owning the car brand new for only a few weeks... in fact I was still sleeping and didn't know WTF had happened and thought it was all a dream until it actually hit me.



Repair cost? $265 to the other party and $200 for a new beam for my Civic. Managed to mould the bumper back into shape again though it's still not perfect.
