    I just removed my air intake resonator on my FD1.
    I can honestly say there isn't any difference whatsoever, except for the temperature gauge on the dash being a tad bit cooler than normal. But that's probably just the cold weather in Melbourne.

    Anyone else done this?

    I did it to my FD2 when i first got it. Nothing noticeable besides giving it a deeper tone.
    Air intake kits dont give power whatsoever. Unless you tune the computer to run it.

    Just gives you #YOLOSWAG induction noise.

    @jPrak

    SIMPLE GREEN from bunnings, or hydrochloric acid (diluted) and wear a gas mask for that shit

    I did it for my race spec audi rims, both work like a treat

    PS I have a bottle of chemical still at home if you want it, its a special grout cleaner containing abovementioned acid
