Any tips haha I've heard blipping the throttle and letting the clutch catch as the rpm fall then accelerate does it. Right now is either a shuddering take off or a cute little tyre chirp >. > its a love hate thing

im getting this weird sound when engaging first gear slowly (im still hating getting used to the 6 puck) and theres a sound that's kinda like a howl, like moving wooden chairs across a flat floor. My old exedy heavy duty clutch also did it, and its only when im slipping the clutch before it engages when taking off or parking

Practice finding and getting use to the friction point so that you can bring up your rpms and disengage the clutch for a smoother take off. Ride it a little longer at first when you're not so use to it, then reduce time riding the clutch as you get more proficient and confident. Even if its sprung, it will have a tight window for you to play with. Once you're use to it, its fairly easy.

This is fairly normal for your type of clutch depending on GBox, Material + Design of Clutch.
Though if the HD [Which I assume is the HD that's one step above OEM replacement ie not Sport/Race/Comp spec HD] is doing it too, could be a bearing or something in the GBox.

haha yeah i got the hang of it a alot better, but sometimes it bogs down (jerks) and then picks up again, must also be cause the lightweight flywheel :/
all bearings were replaced, i think the heavy duty is just the oem spec with a heavier pressure plate on it. Guess it's just the way it is, just like noisy ceramic brake pads, just annoying cause its quite audible outside the car, makes it feel cheap haha

Am I blind or is there no clock in the ep3?
And if I'm not blind, what's the best route to take in order to add this luxurious feature?
Where is the best place to look for window visors?
Anyone have non-OEM visors? And opinions?

1. Get a head unit that has a clock on it.
2. Get a clock and stick on somewhere on your dash.
3. Get a watch.
JDM concept has OEM visors for ep3's but it's $275+shipping
Shift performance have visors for ep3 also and it's only $99. Except it's non-OEM so they're not coloured plastic like the OEM ones. I have the OEM ones and they're a lot better looking than the non-OEM IMHO.

Thanks for the advice!
I agree, I'd only go OEM. I'll just wait for a used pair to appear.

Your head unit should have a clock however I bought a clock taco cause when I have videos playing I don't like the time visible on head unit
