I didnt use a primer which i should have. The bond was good cause i sanded the wheels done prior. I only had the white on for like a month lol so not sure how good the paint is. If you look on my intro thread link the stock wheels were sprayed white with engine paint from autobarn. The evos where done with the bunnings paint and no clear. I wanted the matte look but its hard to keep clean. Doing heavy clear coats makes it easier to wash cause its a smooth finish. I am pretty noob at painting so maybe if you sand down, get a good primer, sand the primer with a high grit and then paint with no clear it might be a smooth finish, not sure.

LOL same here. I'm a noob too. But I will get primer and clear from supercheap. Don't think paint will last long without primer. At least I cut cost from base coat and not having to drive to v.g paint
