Problem with Momo s/w and boss kit

    hey guys
i just got a momo steering wheel, for my gen3 crx, got an original momo boss kit as well, for a civic i think, problem is that, now everything is bolted back up but not sure how to get the horn to work
also the indicators dont turn off by themself anymore
could it be that i have to cut some of the plastic casing, where the boss kit sits against, right now the back piece of metal that activates the horn doesnt seam to touch the boss kit
can anyone help, is it the boss kit, or are all honda boss kits the same

    thanks louis

Take the casing off the steering column and make sure everything is in place.

I couldn't imagine it having anything to do with the steering wheel itself but you may have broken something when installing the boss kit.

your boss kit is probably not touching the return collar on the column that is ment to trip the indicator return.

also it might not have the notches in it that the factory wheel had.

you either have to put the collar more forwars and give it some WD40.

or amke sure your bosskit is driving it.

heres a pic(from the stock wheel), the cirled thing on the boss kit doesnt connect to the plastic thing at the end of the steering column(might be as u said ecu man, thing that trips the indicator return

there is a gap of about 1cm between boss kit and that plastic thing

also it might not have the notches in it that the factory wheel had.
not really sure what u mean by this, but i'll take better pics 2moro
edit: oops sorry my bad forgot to attach it

yeh kind of figured that, but the boss kit doesnt go in anymore, do i have to pull the white plastic/metal bit out(on the right in the first pic) to connect to the boss kit?
