    If you get the wiring for one taillight, you have one socket that has 3 wires and two that has 2 wires. You are using the two same ones that has only 2 wires coming out.

    there are 3 wires, black(oviously ground), green(brake) and red(parker).
    You just need 4 simple wiring in total,
    existing black + black on new(secondhand) socket,

    Unless your taillight gasket is damaged, I dont see any reason why you need to weld the wires.

    gasket is stopping water to leak in so you dont have to worry about short circuits.

    just use electrcal tape and hold them tight.

    Still havent been able to find the holder yet. I went to Supercheap Auto but they didnt have it. Will try Autobahn next time.

    legality of modifying tail lights???
    i was advised its illegal outright
    if say i didnt do a good wiring job.. will this affect the stock brake light or jus the newly added brake light/???

    just do it willll........its legal cos u imported from japan off an EK9. how they gona know. gee lol

    dont think it would affect the the main wiring , its just an extra lil bulb ? im no pro some1 else answer this

    wiring

    if i follow this wiring, would it make the new bulb turn on parker lights and then glow brighter when the break is pressed?

    oh btw...
    for my right tail light: black to black, red to green, green to red
    and for my left: black to black, red to red, green to green

    had to experiment a bit... but turned out all good
