Just the way I want mine ;)
personally, I prefer P steer and a/c
Unless I had racecar + daily creature comfort car. Having one car is much cheaper tho

I have no a/c no p/s no heaterboxs. Removing ps is the best mod I've done to that car, after the coilovers and swaybars.

Firstly,that site is a joke.
If 'they' can get the masses to believe it then it's real.
Everything is energy and energy is thought.
These entities can only have power over U if U let them.
It can happen if we believe it can happen, the future is open because of the fluid nature 'time',so anything can happen.
'They' can munch and crunch us anytime but yet they don't.If they get desperate, which they are, they might,it's open.BUT "where are the good guys"? Right?!?!
Well, they have been here ALL THE TIME but vibrating higher,if we keep hanging in the lower vibrations, never the twain shall meet!
Choices have been made and paths have already been chosen,we are simply going through the motions.
Anything is possible!!
What is possible is up to U in this free will zone.
Of yes, darkness is desperate, those who have chosen the path of light have nothing to fear, never ever ever.
'Above top secret' LOL
They mix truth with lies to get U in to believe some BS.
Heaps of those sites out there.
Here's the real site:

Going by the badge on the Escort it's a 2ltr. Pull it out, get some pics, put it up on eBay or Gumtree. I'll bet there's a classic racer out there or a restorer that would pay money for that. Maybe even the 120Y. Do it man.

I agree, the EM1 and the DC2 are the last of the great Honda coupes. However, clean ones are almost impossible to find these days.
I'm not even gonna attempt to find one again, it took me 8 months of searching to find my EM1 and that was 2/12 years ago. I want to get back on the road as soon as I can, public transport sucks and isn't cheap or convenient.
When I get the insurance money, I think I will get a classic WRX. They are very plentiful and cheap (apart from insurance and fuel consumption). All paw grip will also help on less-than perfect country roads.

yep the subies are great on the corners with decent sussy setup.
i own a forester XTi ... XT with STi running gear.
lots of torque 780Nm as early as 3000rpm all the way to redline = 225awkw with just bolt ons and reflash.
im selling her due to upgrading for a 7seater cx9 (family reasons)
so if your keen on cheap insurance and makes shitloads of power (had EvO's STi's GTR's for breakfast) .. go for a fozzy rather than a WRX/STi.
as the fozzy's are classified as a family wagon AWD rather than a sports car :P
she'll be up for sale soon... :(

Ye olde Mk 1. Copied that straight to "My Pictures". Brett's is a Mk 2 and possibly more desirable for track/rally.
Oh yeah. And the best lookin' wheels ever made. Not a car, truck or even tractor that they don't suit or improve the looks of.
How many kms on the b16 mike?
Sorry hondapop, I probably would have spotted the difference if they were side by side haha. Good spottin'! But could you put the Mk2 engine into Mk1? I'm just thinking. And would it be worth it - was it any better? Also I'll see if I can get a better picture (iPhone takes pretty crap pics) and post up the full res for you if you like.
Yeah I like those rims too, just looking at them reminds me of the mini. They look so good on a Clubman! A search comes up with one instantly with those rims:

hondapop

No apologies needed, they and the Mini are "my era" after all. The pics fine, as good as anything my camera takes Haha and the wheels are Minilites which are still in production from the U.K. http://www.minilitewheels.com/index.htm . Brett's Mk2 is doing a bit of jungle warfare training by the look of it. Needs relieving and being given some R'n'R and then some TLC and then sent back into action, all guns blazing.
It also as I mentioned has the 2ltr SOHC engine which was the basis for the BDA rally engines and I wouldn't be surprised if that Mk1 isn't also so equipped. Ford's of that time were pretty easy to do swaps on and had a huge amount of performance support. Both the Mk1's and 2's were the rally cars to beat back then.
To be honest I like the nose of the Mk1 a lot better. I had the joy of listening to the race car drive through my car park and onto the trailer, I ran out of my office to watch it. It had a very nice exhaust note.

http://www.tradingpost.com.au/Automotive/Used-Cars/AdNumber=TP004915138;pgid=yBFyiwEB76o000Iio.oc40mW 0000MYumfVQ_;sid=Tw-FR-a5fiWFRqmqsx6P5u2Y5ZlcIFdDzF_ZmU83_vUGF7CzM-5lPie5Cz3R2Q==
This ones been converted to 2ltr from 1.6. The reference to Pinto engine is because the engine was originally produced for use in Ford America's small car of that name.
Just been looking at google sites andthe 2ltr first appeared in the Mk1 (RS 2000)
I brought my camera today but the race car is not there anymore. :( But it did have a RS2000 badge on the boot when I looked yesterday, not sure if it's just a badge or the real deal. But it was pretty cool. Oh well.
$7500 for that! It's a lot of money for an old car but it does look very clean.

Km's do have a large impact on the engine, if it is well maintained it just prolongs the life of the engine. No matter how well maintained the engine is, things will still start to wear out the more you drive it and the more kms that go on it.

it's a Honda mate, the engines last forever, unlike other components
here's an example of Honda engine reliability and quality
I have seen that video and another which is basically the same. I know it's a Honda and Hondas are great but you can't say that running up the ks on an engine has no affect on it.
So you're telling me putting km's on an engine has no effect on it and does not increase engine wear because it is a Honda?

I'm saying if you properly warm up the engine and change the oil/filter every 5,000km from at least 100,000km and keep it topped up, you should be VTECing hard (as long as ur not bouncing it off the limited every chance you get) for up to 400,000kms+
Until the crash, my B16a still felt like new. That's from personal experience.
All engines wear, but it can be minimised with proper care and maintainence.

Hey Mikey, as you have seen, the WRX has happened. Biggest bang for buck blah blah blah, but seriously, I'm enjoyin it. It's stock but still provides a fair bit of entertainment.
FYI, I sold the A/c compressor off the em1 for $40. Shop around bro. Ask Hondarec- Jaygee Rd Nerang, they'll fix you up

And aslo in my car, rollin' on 205/60!/15's for the bumpy gravel bit (only 6k's but if I go up the road into the national pak it's all gravel)
The gravel is only bad after heavy rain,up until they grate it.
There's 6 horses from a neighbours property that wander onto ours and eat the fresh grass.Would U believe 4 of the 6 are ponies and were rescued by the owner because they were being used as tackle bags! Mother F%^kers aye!
When I can can I will get some pics up to show ya the gov aint' got me and are forcin' me to write this or watch them write it AHAHAHAA LOL (maybe).
P.S. I haven't got the net,I'm at a mates house... so random posting... I would have wifi out home I think though..

Hey Beeza, just checked out the thread. I also run a D16Y4 so this gives me ideas :D
As for the ghetto air intake, you don't have any issues in regards to water getting into the pipework do you?
I have some plane along similar ideas but haven't had the time / patience to get around to it yet.
Nice car btw man! Look forward to seeing what you get up to next :)

The only way I could see water getting to where the filter is u were behind a truck say in the pouring rain.
And tbh I did that for a few minutes no problem.
Even if u went through a big puddle it wont get to the filter.
The air is pulled through by the intake aswell as being rammed in from the front.
U cant lose with this system.
Im all tech savy with an internet phone so I can get some pics and info up finally.
Videos added to previous page.page 157.
Next time I will strip the car like im going to the 1/4 mile and do another acceleration video and we can see the difference 120kg makes. (That is 2 dogs, door trims, spare wheel, bed in back etc)
And another when the stage 1 bisimoto cam is put in.

Added pics of the intake system. All done with 76mm pvc piping from the plumbing store.
The bonnet rubbers were removed a long time ago for airflow through the engine bay area.
I am sucking in hotter engine air in there but thiy is the best system for the dusty, sometimes flooded roads I drive on.
Otherwise its too much of a risk what with all this rain we sometimes get too.
I can't run a cold air intake cause no fender lining because of over sized tyres 205/60/15 which are needed on these bush roads.
15×7 bigger offset rims means we had to roll the fenders a lot and cut and bash a couple of things up in the wheel well.
U can see the nice tuck ar the rear. Front fenders had to be flared.
