Do you shift at 2500rpm when in D or in tiptronic? If it is tiptronic, you shouuld shift at 3000rpm instead. Using lower RPM but giving more throttle just lugs the engine and consumes more fuel.

Autos typically consume 12L/100km. And a 10-15 minute trip is very short. That's probably the reason for your high fuel consumption
