JDM DC2-R (96 spec) FOUR LUGS, PRE-FACELIFT REAR BAR (NO EXTRA BEAM ACROSS THE BOTTOM)

JDM DC2-R (98 SPEC) & AUDM DC2-R (ALL TYPE-R IN AUSTRALIA IS 98+) HAS 5 LUGS and THE EXTRA BEAM ACROSS THE REAR BAR
updated front/rear bumper.

USDM TYPE-R (96 SPEC) Have pre-facelift (with lip) front/rear. (5lugs)
USDM: TYPE-R 96 SPEC just incase anyone is confused:

USDM TYPE-R (98 SPec) have facelift front & rear. no sidemoulds. (5lugs)

Dude, 96 JDM Type R's come with PRE-FACELIFT rear bars. There are slight differences between the years. I say stuff looking for the visual differences and open up the engine bay, check out the VIN and import plate if its a personal import.

^^ absolutely correct... had a jdm 96 spec a while back while my cuz had a 98 spec jdm, so i saw the difference. the car you were looking at is a jdm 96 spec in melb... i've seen this car myself.
