cvt = most boring trans ever!

For people who are not mechanically minded, yes it is boring. It's the best transmission I've come across.

lol 7 gears is rubbish, they do nothing if u dont change using the paddels it changes for you anyway!

This is what makes the previous CVT transmission so good! It gives me 3 different modes to choose from.

its called grade logic that stops gear hunting in the 5spd

I don't want the car driving me. I want to drive it myself. Another technology invented for the noob drivers.

5spd what? You do realise there is now a 5spd auto and 5spd manual...

Anyway, at the end of the day, I'd still rather a standard manual transmission, however having a wife is full of compromises and the CVT helped alleviate my passion of driving manual.
