    shorter ratios on the dc2r, engine torque has nothing to do with it

    when you refilled it how much did you refill to get back to full????

    do the math - a full tank of 98 octane , on a eg hatch is about 35-36 litres right ? I filled 35 in (first click) , got to coffs harbour and half back again then to wakefield and back. 2 tanks both with 700. No lies here.
    Off highcam , consistant revs on the hwy should give decent results as above.

    i will have to send this way to car mags because u now have officially have the best fuel efficient petrol car in australia
    beating alot of smaller eng capacity motors that are doing 5.6 plus

    If I used to 530km+ city driving in my old EG GLi hatch, I don't see why it's not possible for you to get a few hundred more on the highway.

    43 litres i got 640km so 6.7L/100km mainly highway 120km/h at ~3200rpm
    Is this the end of my car modding days? Buying a house says so...

    Very good efficiency...

    I got close to 600km (highway driving) last time in my old EG with the B18c7 with the bolt-ons.

    100 or so ks more isnt hard to pull out of a light eg running this engine. I guess the standard ecu makes the difference
