shorter ratios on the dc2r, engine torque has nothing to do with it

btw, my d16y4 sits at 2.8 rpms @ 110 kmh on highway driving..
when you refilled it how much did you refill to get back to full????

that is not possilble mate no way i have tried that 550 is tops
especially with the 4.78 box u have
and also u would have one of the most economical cars in australia with around a low 5.4 lt per 100kms
do the math - a full tank of 98 octane , on a eg hatch is about 35-36 litres right ? I filled 35 in (first click) , got to coffs harbour and half back again then to wakefield and back. 2 tanks both with 700. No lies here.
Off highcam , consistant revs on the hwy should give decent results as above.

i will have to send this way to car mags because u now have officially have the best fuel efficient petrol car in australia
beating alot of smaller eng capacity motors that are doing 5.6 plus
cool.
And ill keep driving to coffs and back 3 times a year and getting around 700 a tank.
Whats so unbelievable about it- these are the figures hwy cycle.

Very good efficiency...
I got close to 600km (highway driving) last time in my old EG with the B18c7 with the bolt-ons.
