I was wondering would a DC2 b18c extractors fit on a Da9 because if in not wrong are all b18 series blocks are the same or other way around?
thanks
Im in the same boat as you..
Some people say all b18 are the same, vtec or non vtec.. but then again there are headers that are specifically for vtec b18s like b18c etc.. I think they will fit but maybe the difference is the design to accompany vtec (to get max gains etc) may be different..
It would be great if someone could clarify it once and for all!
including the gaskets they bolt on
the b18 headers are better coz i think the height of the b16 is smaller then a b18 so its possible that they wont fit. but again i might b wrong depending on the type of header
but if u get a b18c vtec header shouldnt make u loose power remember the reason for vtec is to give a smooth idle with more breathing up the top where our engines (b18a/b) are the same the whole time so if u put lumpy cams u wont get that smooth idle of a vtec but theres always a trade off for power usually drivability or reliability
What reasoning is there to run a brand name radiator? When my radiator cracked a tank at my parents place in bum**** no where I managed to get a decent dual row jobbie for $350 including frieght, and I haven't had a single cooling problem since. I don't see the point in upgrading stuff past your needs.
I am getting as good as I can for the turbo. just assumed the original question was relating to aluminium radiators.
where did you manage to find the dual row rad from, and is it aluminium? are we talking from a different car or specifically for the DA?

Thanks man
i will find out next week when i get the exhurst changed
All B headers will fit u might just need to grind your cross member down a little. i have a 92-93 DA9 and fitted Xforce 4-1 headers. i had to grind the cross member to get them in nice and snug.
there for sale as well if any one wants. Free modified cross member!
